You Can Volunteer To Snuggle Kittens! Yes, It's True!
One can volunteer to do lots of thing; helping the homeless, feeding animals, reading to kids... but how about snuggling kittens? Yes, please!
There is an overflow of homeless kittens. The Best Friends Animal Society in LA and Salt Lake City house orphaned kittens and nursing moms. They are given round-the-clock care... like cuddling! Staff and volunteers bottle feed the kittens, clean and feed them. They do everything to sure the little cuties are happy and safe.
What is a big part of caring for them? Love and affection! Volunteers sign up to give them snuggle, affection, pets and kisses. This is all important to the growth of these wee little babies. It helps them become comfortable with people. Therefore, helping them get adopted!
"This handling helps get the kittens to their 'peak adorable fitness,' ready to be adopted. It’s a tough job but somebody’s got to do it, right?" says Eric Rayvid, a Best Friends spokesperson.
Where do we sign up?
