World's Oldest Runner Reflects on Retirement
"Being active is like a medication. I don't want to withdraw from that medication," said 102-year-old Fauja Singh. Fauja is believed to be the world's oldest runner, completing nine full marathons since he took up running at age 89. Since retiring from competing this February, Fauja has had a chance to reflect on how running truly was a wonderful gift for him during a period in his life when he needed it most.
