Weather Machine Debut Music Video Features 185 Oregon State Parks
In what is likely the most Oregonian thing to ever happen, the Portland-based band, The Weather Machine, released a video of their song "O'er Oregon," featuring each of the state's 185 parks. A single guitarist (Slater Smith) appears at first by himself, strumming and singing the mellow tune, and is gradually joined by his band mates as the song progresses. Romantic background flourishes include exploding fireworks over a beach, a father and daughter frolicking in the sand, and many, many evergreens/trees that might not be evergreens, but look pretty darn close.
Needless to say, it's a good song to unwind to, and to inspire the sudden urge to fly to Portland and learn how to play a box drum.
