Teen Model With Down Syndrome Proudly Represents Fashion Campaign
Madeline Stuart is taking the fashion world by storm with her courageous beauty. The 18-year-old may have Down syndrome, but she is breaking stereotypes and barriers in the fashion industry while chasing her dreams.
The brand everMaya is now partnering with Stuart to encourage true beauty, inside and out.
"Madeline has external beauty — Down syndrome or not," Damian Graybelle, co-founder of the brand, said. "But secondly, she captures inner beauty, which is something the everMaya brand is all about."
Stuart has also been focused on her health, which inspires Graybelle.
"You have a young girl who wants to become a model, and instead of her mom dismissing this as a teenage fantasy, they hire a personal trainer, she loses 50 pounds," Graybelle said. "She is so inspiring and she epitomizes all those ideals about what real beauty is, not superficial beauty, real beauty that is more than skin-deep. The fact that she happens to be gorgeous is just a plus."
Stuart was also recently hired to model for Manifesta, a women's sportswear brand. No doubt that this brave and determined girl is changing the world of modeling with her gorgeous spirit and smile!
