Tattoo Artist Turns Girl's Leg Braces Into Awesome Disney Villains
There are few more powerful women than Disney villains. Now, Hope Laliberte feels just like one! With the help of tattoo artist, Aaron Guillemette, Hope's leg braces were turned into fierce Disney villains from classic movies. One looks like Ursula from “The Little Mermaid” and the other Cruella de Vil from “101 Dalmatians."
Hope and her twin sister were born 24 weeks early. While her sister has no health issues, Hope was born with cerebral palsy and a rare form of epilepsy. The 8-year-old has been wearing leg braces for the last 4 years.
Hope loves Disney villains so her parents sought out help from a professional. "I'm glad to be in a position where I can help the community in any way,” Guillemette told the news outlet. “When I was first approached about designing Hope's braces, I thought it would be an awesome idea -- especially when I heard what the subject matter would be. Hope wanted Disney villains on her braces, not princesses.”
Hope couldn't be happier with the results. In fact, she screamed when she saw them! We hope they make her feel as strong and powerful as a Disney villain!
