Lion Cubs Pass Zoo Swim Test With Flying Colors
Spectators got a rare glimpse into what it takes to go on exhibit when four of the most adorable African lion cubs took a public swim reliability test at the Smithsonian National Zoo.
The cubs were born on March 2 and are all carefully monitored by the zoo’s care team. As part of the test, according to the zoo’s YouTube page, each cub must prove that they can swim to land and pull themselves out of the water.
During this test, all the cubs passed and are just one step closer to joining their friends and siblings in just a few weeks!
