Jordan Mellul is the General Manager of Nika Water Company, a three-year old social enterprise that donates 100% of its profits to clean water and education projects around the world to help end poverty. Since its inception, Nika has completed water well and school projects in Sri Lanka, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Nicaragua, in addition to constant outreach to organizations operating in the company’s hometown of San Diego. Jordan speaks passionately about the new wave of social entrepreneurship and how business sustainability through a triple bottom line approach is a key towards success and ending societal challenges. His attitude towards work ethic and the value of a team effort are of the highest importance to him. Jordan has contributed to numerous articles on Nika that have been written or filmed, including ones on Channel 4SD, Stay Classy, and San Diego’s Union Tribune among others. Jordan earned a B.A. in Psychology at Rider University in 2004 and moved to California to help create Nika Water in 2009.
