By now you've probably heard that not getting 7-8 hours of sleep for one night can screw up your sleep schedule for a week. The truth of the matter is that missing out on sleep does more than make you groggy. The long-term effects are much more serious.
Whatever it takes to get your mind and body to calm down enough to snooze, do it. If you have a sleeping disorder, or are just particularly stressed, get help! Do yourself and favor and go to bed.
