How To Stick To Your Resolutions This Year
Happy New Year, Friends! 2015 has begun and resolutions have been (maybe) be set. We can have the best intentions on keeping our resolutions but with the craziness of life, it can be easier said than done. Here are 4 ways to actually stick to your resolutions this year. Good Luck!
1. Identify Your Readiness to Change
Don't let the pressure of the New Year and resolutions make you commit to something you are not ready for. Unless you really want to do something, don't make it a resolution.
2. Believe You Can Do It
Stay positive. Don't let negative thoughts drag you down. Keep telling yourself you can, and you will!
3. Think Constructively About Setbacks
Setbacks are inevitable. That weak cheat day doesn't have to stop you from being healthier in 2015. Realize that setbacks and mistakes do happen and move forward.
4. Build Mental Strength
A lot of resolutions are physical - for example losing weight. But it is important to stay mentally strong too. Keep it positive! Do daily exercises like keeping a gratitude journal to remind yourself of all the good in your life. It will help you stay motivated!
