Forest Ranger's Dying Wish To See Forest Granted
A dying forest ranger, too sick to venture outside, was granted his wish to see the forest one last time.
Firefighters volunteer to grant a dying forest ranger's last wish to see the woods one last time.
When staff at the Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland, Washington learned that the forest ranger, identified only as Ed, wanted to see his beloved woods one last time, hospice staff arranged for firefighters to wheel him through the forest where he used to work as a ranger.
According the hospice's Facebook page, Ed was happy to smell the scents of the forest and touch nature one last time.
