Blind Man's Sign Goes Viral
A 34-year-old blind man asked for someone to volunteer to read to him. His caretaker put up a sign in the window of a local book shop and the response has been incredible.
Andrew Bailey started loosing his sight fifteen years ago to a degenerative disease. He also has difficulty hearing and speaking and requires constant care.
A stranger saw the note and tweeted it to the public - it has now been re-tweeted over 1,200 times! So far there have been dozens of people willing to help. In just three hours there were eight or nine calls.
In response to the news Andrew said, "There are many, many people out there willing to read to me and it's very reassuring, it makes me feel very good really. There are nice people out there."
