Biker Group Befriends Bullied 5-Year-Old
A 5-year-old girl with a mental disability from Albuquerque, New Mexico, was bullied on her way home from school one day. Once the Punishers, a biker group made up of law enforcement, EMS personnel and firefighters, found out about the incident, they wanted to help her out.
“We rounded up all the bikes and we rode over to the little girl’s house and said 'hi,'” Aaron Holmes, a member of the Punishers, said.
After the group arrived, it took some time for the little girl, whose parents want to keep her name private, to warm up to them. Once she felt comfortable, she became friends with the group that said they had her back.
“We told her that we are always there for her no matter what,” Norman Gonzalez, president of the Albuquerque chapter of the Punishers, said.
