Beautiful Public Art Displays by Spanish Art Group (Photos)

Luzinterruptus is an anonymous artistic group that carries out urban interventions in public spaces. They use "light as a raw material and the dark as canvas," to make beautiful works of art that provoke the needs, desires and concerns of the communities they are set up in. The displays are set up so that citizens will interact, either by walking through it, adding to it, or taking parts away and turning out the lights themselves.

The finished products are delightful:

"Plastic Garbage Guarding the Museum"

"Water in the Streets"

"Radioactive Control"

"A Thousand Poems By Mail"

"An Almost Ephemeral Autumn"

"Mutant Weeds"

"Plaza de la Cebada Pool"

"Deciduous Lamp Post"

"Recycling Sunday"
