76-Year-Old Opportunist Shows Us How To Live Life To The Fullest
There are few people who love a good kazoo jam session more than Darla Shaw. The self-proclaimed lifetime learner, among other things, is in a kazoo band. She is a professor at Western Connecticut State University where she teaches classes in language arts and literacy. Beside being an educator, Darla is involved in music, theater, volunteering, and is also an advocate for Alzheimer's awareness.
Darla was recently in a film called "A Different Drummer", which is all about eccentrics who are productive, creative, and imaginative and help society. "It's all about participation and not being a spectator," she remarked.
This woman who does it all, literally, can teach us a thing or two about living life to the fullest! So watch, and take notes.
