7-Year-Old Collects Birthday Donations To Help Babies
Your average 7-year-old loves getting birthday presents. What kid doesn't? This year Noah Hall King doesn't have his sights set on a bike or race car, he wants something else for his birthday.
Instead of asking for presents Noah asked for donations so he could give the money to the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies.. This charitable deed isn't new for the philanthropic boy. In fact, this is his third year using his birthday as a way of raising donations for the company. On his 5th birthday he raised $1,200 for the Ocoee Fire Department; his 6th he raised $1,800 for the Ocoee Police Department.
This year Noah wanted to help the tiny premature and sick babies at the NICU of the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. Noah spent months collecting money. This amazing little boy went door to door to get donations. Dr. Gregor Alexander sees a lot of incredible things, but receiving the large check from Noah topped the list.
“Having Noah give us these funds, it's an inspiration to all of us,” Dr. Alexander said. “To have a young boy at this age, having the spirit of philanthropy, deciding to make a difference in this world, it's just an amazing type of experience to all of us.”
Noah has no plans on stopping. For his 8th birthday he plans to help the homeless. Thank you, Noah!
