Young CT Boys Sell Lemonade To Save Animals
Summer break is a great time to set up a lemonade stand. Runners, walkers and passersby are sure to love a refreshing treat! Two young boys from CT had the same idea. Although, they made their lemonade stand really special.
Derek and Jack Baba love animals. They wanted to raise money to help animals who needed it. What better way than with a booming lemonade stand? Their love of animals and their community fueled their start of 'D&J Concessions.' All proceeds from their sales would go the Animal Welfare Fund.
“I am so proud and so thankful we live in such a wonderful community,” their mom, Stephanie Baba, said.
With the business of neighbors and even the New Hartford firemen, the caring boys were able to raise $300.
