"Wolf Therapy" Guides Troubled Teens In The Right Direction
When you hear the words 'therapy animal' you might picture dogs or cats. But what about wolves? They are probably not the first animal you think to go to for comfort, however, this program shows wolves in a warmer light.
Changing teenage lives in Southern California, "Wolf therapy" is an eight-week program that focuses on making connections between a wolf and an abandoned young adult. "Wolf Therapy" was created by Wolf Connection, an animal rescue place and Promises, an alcohol and drugs rehabilitation center.
Teo Alfero, a pack leader at Wolf Connection believes the wolves different lifestyle help young adults develop confidence and trust to help them move on to a healthier lifestyle.
