Wife And K-9 Honor Fallen Officer In Beautiful Photo Shoot
Lt. Eric Eslary, a 17-year veteran of the Ligonier Township Police Department in western Pennsylvania, will forever be remembered as a hero. The officer was killed by a drunk driver in May 2015. Eric's K-9 partner, Blek, was badly injured in the crash. The loyal pup refused to leave his partner's side until his wife, Mary Beth Taylor-Eslary came to get him.
The wife and K-9 miss their beloved officer every day. "It's hard to believe it's over," Taylor-Eslary says. "He vanished that night." Mary Beth wanted to do something to honor her late husband. Photographer Christy Boyd heard what happened and wanted to help. Boyd doesn't charge for her work but accepts donation in her son's scholarship fun, who was killed in a car crash in 2008.
The collection of photos are absolutely beautiful.
