Where Are They Now? Matt And Emily's Charity Wedding
We had the pleasure of meeting Matt and Emily, two giving people, who are using their wedding to help other people (original video below.) They decided to have a charity wedding that incorporated as many nonprofit vendors and social-good brands as possible, including TOMS, MyFight.org, I Know Hope, The Darling Necklace and Vive Le Ranch. By holding this charity wedding, Matt and Emily not only hope to help others in need but also to inspire those in attendance to incorporate giving into their own lives.
We caught up with the happy, loving couple to see how they are doing. It is no surprise at all they are still giving and making a wonderful difference in the world. They have been married for about a year and half now, and still going strong. Matt and Emily decided their wedding was only the beginning of their world changing venture. Matt resigned from his job and the couple started an international human trafficking organization The Cause International. They have traveled all over the US raising awareness, internationally opening safe homes and doing rescue missions. They opened their first safe home in Tulsa, Oklahoma housing boys ages 2-17. The work they are doing is so important and appreciated. Which makes me even more excited for the happy couple who expecting their first child in June 2015!
Enjoy watching their story and wedding in our original video...
