Walnuts May Prevent Alzheimers
A new study recently conducted by researchers at the New York State Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities found that a daily dose of walnuts might reduce, slow or delay the risk of contracting Alzheimer's disease. This is due to the high level of antioxidants which has a positive effect against specific proteins suspected of promoting brain degeneration.
Dr Abha Chauhan who lead the research team commented on her findings, “these findings are very promising and help lay the groundwork for future human studies on walnuts and Alzheimer’s disease — a disease for which there is no known cure." This super-nut has been proven to improve learning skills, memory, and reduce anxiety. Get crackin!
