Tomorrow, Saturday September 29 is Free Museum Day so get out and go! If you've never been to some of the best museums in your city this is your chance to go check them out for free!
On Saturday, visit your favorite museum or discover a new one -- for free! National Museum Day is an annual event hosted by Smithsonian magazine in which participating museums across the country open their doors at no charge to anyone presenting a Museum Day Ticket. Locally, you can enjoy free admission to dozens of museums, including the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Discovery Museums in Acton, the Children's Museum in Easton, Battleship Cove in Fall River, the Harvard Art Museums in Cambridge, and many more! You'll need to download a ticket, which is good for one person plus one guest. Only one ticket will be given per household, and may only be used one time. Parking, special exhibits and events (including IMAX movies), are not included in this free admission. Sat., Sept. 29, hours vary by museum. All ages.
