Welcome to This Week in Sports with Calder Hodge!

Each week, Calder Hodge - a high school quarterback from Texas, will highlight the most memorable moments from the past week in the world of SPORTS. Do you love football, baseball, basketball, gymnastics, hockey, boxing or... anything that keeps score? TWI Sports will be there for every inning, quarter or round!

We all want to get back to live sports, but in the meantime, check out - THIS WEEK IN SPORTS with Calder Hodge - for fantastic reminders of what we have to look forward to.

Host Calder Hodge is like most teenage kids growing up in Texas - he loves sports, especially football. What's different about Calder is that he was born without tibia bones and plays football with two prosthetic legs! He shared the quarterback position on the JV team last season, is known to be driven and a fiery leader, and is already working with his coaches to prepare for the upcoming season. While there are other football players in the country with prosthetic legs, he is the first double amputee QB to have his very own Sports Show!

Double Amputee Football Star - The Calder Hodge Story

Many kids who love sports growing up dream of playing for their High School team and maybe even continuing on to play in college. Most kids with these dreams aren't like Calder Hodge, who was born without tibia bones and had his legs amputated above the knees when he was 2 and a half. This setback might have stifled the dreams of an ordinary kid, but with unbounded enthusiasm and determination, and the help of prosthetic blades, Calder, now 15, has learned to walk, run and channel his love of football to become a quarterback for his high school team.

We'll see you next time for "This Week In Sports". Till then, OGTV hopes your week is Only Good!
