This Ten-Year-Old Is Out To Change the World
Braeden Quinn Mannering has been busy this year. The ten-year-old Delaware native has packaged and delivered over 1,300 bagged lunches to hungry people. In 2013 he won the Healthy Lunchtime Challenge and attended a state dinner at The White House. Braeden's idea came to fruition when he realized the best way to combat homelessness in his neighborhood was to deliver food to people in need. “There shouldn't be a world where some people overeat while other people are starving” said Braeden. The young life-changer's next goal is to write a children's book to help empower kids to make a difference. He is also working on creating the first ever Kids Hunger Conference set for 2015. His story is proof that anyone can make a difference, no matter one's age.
