This Story Of Adoption Will Open Your View Of What A Family Looks Like
Xavier, John, and Ronnie were nearing an age that would move them out of foster care. Parentless, and without anyone to support them, they would likely lead lonesome lives of homelessness. Shortly before that possible future became a reality for Xavier, he was adopted at the age of 18. Now 20, he lives with his adopted father, Joe Tolles, a man he considers the "only dad he's ever had." A couple years later, Xavier got two brothers, John, 17, and Ronnie, 14. All three boys went from horrendous homes, to foster care, to a healthy and loving family against the unlikely odds of getting adopted as teenagers.
