This Hero is using Fragrance to Fight Depression - Only Good Heroes (E18)

In the OnlyGood TV original series, Only Good Heroes, you'll meet some remarkable individuals and organizations who are making a huge difference in communities across the country, sparking action that pulls people together to battle the impact from this pandemic.

In this episode, host Lucia Nazzaro talks with Audrey Guss, the Founder of Hope For Depression. Saddened by her Mom's struggle with depression late in life, inspired by her love of beautiful fragrances, and frustrated by the general lack of progress in treatment for the last 25 years, Audrey has created a foundation with a two-fold mission: 1 - fund research to find the causes of depression and, 2 – raise awareness of depression as a medical illness.

Watch and hear Audrey's favorite success story, the positivity lessons she's learned, and how she has discovered how to continue fundraising with "virtual luncheons" despite the pandemic.

Host Lucia Nazzaro is an Emmy nominated multi-media personality, writer and reporter who received her MSW in Clinical Social Work and is a licensed clinical therapist. Her latest project is WellSeekers (https://www.wellseekers.com/); a socially good focused company offering content and tools to help promote a more happy and healthy relationship with the people, places and things in your life.
