This Grocery Store Clerk's Act Of Kindness Goes Viral
During a torrential downpour in Canton, North Carolina, bagger Aaron Sanders at the Ingles grocery store helped an elderly lady walk to her car by protecting her with his umbrella. He got soaked, but the lady made it to her car with her groceries safe and dry!
A coworker took a photo of the good deed and it instantly went viral!
“I asked her if I could help her out and she said no a couple of times, said I don’t want you getting wet,” Sanders said. “And I just said I prefer if I helped you out. And then she said OK.”
So what does Sander have to say about all of the attention this story has gotten?
“With all the attention, I still try to be humble you know, it’s my job," Sanders said. 'It’s what I like to do. I like helping people whenever they need help. And I’d do it all over again.”
