OG Sports is an OGTV series all about the inspirational sports stories you love to hear. Veteran Sports anchor Scott Stanford will interview unique and uplifting sports heroes and members of organizations who, in their own way, are trying to change the world for the better through sports.

In this episode, Scott talks to Emma Gee, a nationally ranked college Cross Country Track runner for Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Emma discusses her journey of discovery, revelation, and what it's like becoming the first LGBTQ athlete at BYU to come out while under their extremely strict student Honor Code of moral and ethical behavior.


Follow Emma's story of social and athletic perseverance as she continues her quest to compete in the NCAA National Track Championship while being true to herself.

Scott Stanford is a 7 Time Emmy Winning American Entertainment Host, News/Sports Anchor and commentator. He is currently a studio host for World Wrestling Entertainment (since 2009) and can also be seen anchoring sports at CBS Sports HQ and hosting other sports awards shows and segments.

Rescue, Transform, Share: How an Ohio Soup Shack Is Saving Lives

"It really does take a village to help people," says Sandra Lettie, a volunteer with La Soupe in Cincinnati, Ohio. La Soupe is helping to build and activate just such a "village" of compassionate people from the local area around the goal of producing food from discarded produce and providing it to families in need.

According to La Soupe's CEO, Suzy DeYoung, the organization's central mission is to "rescue, transform, and share." First, volunteers with La Soupe visit grocery stores and farms to pick up produce that was going to be discarded and "rescue" it for use in the soups that the team creates. That produce is then "transformed" into healthy, delicious food by the chefs at La Soupe. Finally, the food is "shared" with those in the local community who need it.
