These Numbers Prove The World's Biggest Problems Aren't Un-Solvable
Issues like world hunger, global poverty and widespread illness seem so large that we make it easy on ourselves and consider those things "unsolvable." No need to get so worked up over them, they're never going to get sorted out anyway--there's not enough money in the world to do anything, right? Nope, wrong.
There is absolutely enough money to alleviate much of the world's suffering. The question isn't about making the money, it's about how we use the money we have. If we spent as much money on helping kids complete school as we do on GOLF, we could provide a basic education in all low-income and lower-middle-income countries.
