The App To Cure Boredom
Boredom strikes at random, with dull precision. Surrounded by indecisive friends, you can feel the weight of an uneventful night already pressing on your shoulders. No one wants to be the dictator of the evening, so no one wants to stick to anything. Even the bold who say "We could do THIS!" trail off with a wimpy little qualifier, "But I don't care... It's up to you guys," which is polite, but unhelpful, especially when you and all five your friends start doing it. Everyone pretends to suggest something fun and then drags everyone back to square one by saying, "But I don't care what we do, don't let me decide."
How noble, right? WRONG.
There comes a point when all you need is something to get out of the house. Otherwise, you'll spend the whole night staring at one another, wearing uncomfortable shoes and too much fragrance for someone's living room.
Fortunately, there's an app for this. It's called Schemer. Not only is the title cuter than a rabbit's ear, it's also just what the doctor ordered to cure boredom. Watch this really great ad for it, right meow, and you'll see.
Schemer is the friend we all want but can't be--the guy who unabashedly suggests what we should do for fun.
Here are some of the more inventive ideas I found after downloading the app:
Convert an old laptop into a wall-mounted computer. Like, what? That's possible??
Invent your own holiday and celebrate it wildly. I just created Help-your-coworker-save-coffee-money Day.
Build your own home security system. Nailed it.
Build a small air balloon. Something tells me I'm missing something...
Make your own ice cream by dancing. Isn't that how ice cream is normally made?
