Snowfall Inspires Man To Feel Young Again

By the time we're old enough to shovel snow out of the driveway, snowfall loses some of its magic. The white bits tumbling through the air become more a sign of imminent chores rather than winter whimsy. That's exactly how Joseph J. Mazella felt when he stepped out into his yard. His back ached prematurely, anticipating the repetitive motions of clearing some space to walk through the freshly packed aftermath of a blizzard. The sight would have remained as one, giant chore, had he not waited a minute to absorb the scene before him.
Distant laughter, and other various sounds that bubble through as a result of school being canceled brought back good memories of winters past. Soon enough the tremendous amount of snow in his yard morphed from burden to blessing.
