Dudeoir and Drag Queens On Ice! An Event for Fun and Charity (Beauty Redefined E3)
** On World Aids Day, we share this story about an Aids fundraising event that celebrates people being comfortable in their own skin. **
Drag Queens on Ice is celebrating their 8th Annual event, fundraising for local Sacramento, California charities, and showing how dressing in drag draws off of what beauty is and allows each individual to create their own persona, their own version of being beautiful.

Johnathan Cameron (aka Taryn Thru-U) meets with Josh and shares his perspectives of how dressing in drag fits into our society's standards of beauty. Jonathan himself is known as a "Linebacker Drag Queen" because of his football-like physique, and he explains the evolution of drag over the years and shares the enjoyment he gets out of being in the spotlight, having fun, and helping others at the same time.

"I'm proud to be a drag queen because I've taken something and used it to raise money to help people," he tells Josh "That's what makes me happy. I know I'm making a difference in my community."

This year, the Drag Queens on Ice event is raising funds for Norcal Aids Cycle, Front Street Animal Shelter, and The Imperial Court of Sacramento, a nonprofit that raises fund for the LGBTQ community.

Josh, a big guy with tattoos and an incomparable beard, having posed in a series of seductive "dudeoir shots" for a popular calendar, knows what it's like to push the boundaries. The inspirational people he meets at this event epitomize what it means to live an authentic life being comfortable in your own skin.

Tune in to see Josh, once again stretching his boundaries, getting out on the ice, having fun with the drag queens, and supporting some great charities.

To learn more about Josh, follow him on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/joshvarozza/

To learn about and support the charities from this event, visit them at:

Norcal Aids Cycle: https://norcalaidscycle.org/

Front Street Animal Shelter: http://www.cityofsacramento.org/community-development/animal-care/volunteer

Imperial Court of Sacramento: http://www.cgnie.org/
