School Launches "85 Acts of Kindness" Campaign
An all-girls prep-school in NYC is encouraging not only students but faculty, staff, and alumni to participate in this social media fueled kindness campaign. In honor of the 85th anniversary of St. Jean Baptiste High School staffers launched the "85 acts of kindness campaign". Each homeroom class is challenged to perform a combined 85 acts of kindness by May.
The school is also reviving the Toys for Tots program. School officials encourage students to perform any good deed that they are capable of. This includes helping serve the underprivileged, tutor, speak out against bullying, and empower other young women. Even the smallest acts of kindness, such as leaving a few quarters for someone at the washing machines, can create a ripple effect.
