Renee lives in the Washington DC Area with her husband and two daughters. She is an editorial contributor to Fodor’s Washington DC specializing in Museums and Neighborhoods. She writes a monthly column for Northern Virginia Magazine on parenting; this expertise led her children to stop questioning and totally defer at all times. Not.
Her bi-monthly column for AOL Patch reviewing restaurants in the DC suburbs has forced her to diet every other day of the week. She has been known to take a bite of more than 30 different plates in one sitting—and recently judged the annual Bethesda Pie-baking competition with 37 entries, still managing to eat Peruvian chicken for dinner.
When not writing, eating, or driving her kids around, she loves to travel, and collects beads to make handmade jewelry.
