'Puppy Room' Helps College Students Become Less Stressed
There are many reasons college kids can be stressed... homework assignments, exams and figuring out what they want to do with their lives; just to name a few. The University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University came up with most adorable plan to help students de-stress.
Paws for Health at UBC pairs students up with a pup so they can cuddle and play with them. This break in their day helps them unwind, forget about their stressors and relax.
SFU Health and Counseling Services is partnering with the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) to bring in puppies that are being trained as service dogs to help students handle stress.
I can't think of a better way to de-stress than play with an adorable puppy! I think these schools are seriously onto something good...
