Popstar Hosts "End Cancer Night" at MLS Game - Caly On The Good (E12)

** OGTV continues our celebration of Pride Month with a story from our original series, Caly On The Good, where Pop Star Caly Bevier has the honor of performing our National Anthem at a Major League Soccer game. **

Caly Bevier has overcome the odds, and ovarian cancer, to become a pop music star. While her artistic family has helped launch her music career, she has never lost touch with another family that is very close to her heart – cancer survivors. In this episode of Caly on the Good, we follow Caly to Houston, Texas where she will participate in the "End Cancer Night" event hosted by the Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer (MLS) by singing at halftime and being with others facing cancer.

Caly has friend Sam Corchado and manager Chris Maltese supporting her for this event by helping her prepare and joining her on the field at BBVA Compass Stadium. "I'm proud to be part of her journey as she not only goes through the music business but also her journey to help other people," Chris explained. "This is a cause she is really passionate about."

This special night is hosted and organized by The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the same organization that hosted the prom for their hospitalized teen patients that was highlighted in the previous episode of Caly On The Good (E11).

Jon Schuller, Vice President of Fan Experience, was touched by Caly's story when he saw her on America's Got Talent, and made the push to bring her to the Dynamo's attention. "What we try to do for all of our fans, every game, is bring in a special touch that adds a unique moment for the fan experience, and Caly is a part of that."

We have your ticket to join Caly on the field as she takes in the soccer game and prepares to go on stage in front of the big crowd. Watch as she fills the stadium with a stirring rendition of "Head Held High" and then visits with everyone who has come together to fight cancer. It's a night to remember for all as Caly shares the spotlight to both entertain and heal.

Blind Waiter Serves Up Diner Classics and Life Lessons

** As we wind down to the final days of this difficult year, OGTV is tipping our hat to all of the essential workers on the front lines with this uplifting story about a New Jersey man who has found a way to do this difficult job for years, even without his eyesight! **

The flickering neon sign reflects eerily off the aging, chrome exterior; a long smooth marble counter with spinning stools draws your gaze left and right as you enter; the checkered linoleum floor seeps under the rows of back-to-back leather booths enveloped by the rain streaked wrap-around windows. You may think you've entered a typical American roadside eatery, but your experience here will be anything but ordinary.

You have just stepped into the Bendix Diner, a staple in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey since the 1940's. It's no surprise that The Bendix can serve up a sizzling Burger with deep fried onion rings and a frothy chocolate shake. What is unique about this meal is the waiter who delivers it to your table – his name is John Diakakis, and he is blind.
