Police spend their lives helping the community, protecting us and keeping the the peace. They have their hands full. But some of these servicemen go above and beyond that duty. George, a policeman in Birmingham, UK, is one of these very special people.
Persian, 4, hasn't had an easy childhood thus far. Back in 2013 the boy was diagnosed with kidney cancer. He underwent two courses of chemotherapy and faces a long recovery road. But like a your typical resilient youngster, he didn't let it stop him from being a kid; a kid who loves policeman.
Make-A-Wish UK caught wind of Persian's story and granted him his dream day. The 4-year-old experienced a day in the life of his favorite policeman, George. Persian has idolized George his whole life. When the two see each other in town, Persian gets so excited and always says hi.
Persian's dream day began in a Hummer limousine. He was decked out in his own police uniform. Looking sharp as ever, Persian visited the police training center, the dog handling unit and spent some time in the police cars - playing with the sirens of course. He spend the day with his idol and experienced being a real life policeman.
This will truly be a day he will never forget....and neither will George.
