Mr. Mo Project Gives Back To Senior Dogs
Rescued by Life In The Dog House's Chris and Mariesa Hughes on June 25, 2012, Moses was given a second chance after being surrendered by his owners in Florida because of his age. Typically overlooked by new adopters, senior dogs are left in shelters without the love or care they need. As a strong advocate for elderly Pit Bulls everywhere, Mr. Mo became the face of the “Mr. Mo Project” and elder bulls across the nation. On February 17, 2014, Moses was diagnosed with an inoperable spinal cord tumor. He lost his battle on March 26, 2014, which inspired this amazing project. In honor of Mr. Mo, a black Pit Bull with a kind heart, Chris and Mariesa made it their mission to help other senior dogs have a better life.
