Love Sugar, But Want A Healthy Substitute?
Sugar is something that as American's we have been told we consume too much of. I know I'm always looking for healthy, but tasty alternatives, here are a couple that made my stomach rumble!
Lemon. Squeeze in a bit of their zesty juice and you won't need the sugar that is usually used in a Tom Collins.
Cinnamon. Skip the sugar in your coffee and sprinkle in some cinnamon, just a dash will do the trick. Not only will your taste buds enjoy it, you're immune system will too. Oh and it's zero calories, who doesn't love that!
Grapefruit. This sweet and tangy fruit will provide you with Vitamin C and taste great in a cocktail. Try swapping out soda for this delicious fruit juice.
Rum. Alcohol can be used for a number of things -- besides drinking of course. Soak some fruit in rum or even add it to your favorite baking recipe.
