Looking To Adopt A Good Dog? Meet Melody
In early August, HooplaHa met a homeless woman named Judy who created a family of her own by rescuing dogs. Together they walked through parks, played fetch, and somehow managed to survive despite having extremely little. Since then, Judy's given birth to a healthy baby girl, and can no longer care for all the dogs she adopted on the streets.
Melody, the black and white sweetheart in the photo above, now has no place to go other than kennels or the pound. Carolyn Merino Mullin, the Executive Director of the National Museum of Animals & Society, describes Melody as "energetic but a total smooch." She's 2 years old, spayed, and up to date on all her shots. She gets along fine with small dogs, but still has a little trouble meeting bigger dogs. She's good with kids. Mullin also says, "She's confused, lonely and desperately needs a foster or forever home."
