It's Purple Day, Supporting Epilepsy Around The World
Purple Day, founded by Cassidy Megan in 2008 motivated by her own struggles with epilepsy, is an annual international grassroots effort to raise awareness about epilepsy worldwide. On March 26, people in countries around the world are invited to wear purple and host events in support of epilepsy awareness. Last year, there were participants in every continent, including Antarctica!
