Inspired 'Snap-On Underwear' Line From Disabled Teen
People with disabilities face a lot of obstacles. Their daily lives can be altered, making it difficult to do ‘normal’ activities like dressing or walking. This ambitious teen was born with a hemangioma, a disorder that caused vascular tumors to grow in her right tibia. Christina Robinson was told she would have to wear a leg brace for the next year. Her biggest concern was having to wear frumpy clothing at the very start of high school, the 17-year-old told ABC News. She was absolutely not going to settle for wearing bulky Velcro underwear, as the brace wouldn’t allow her to wear regular ones. She came up the idea for snap-on underwear that is both cute and functional. People with disabilities should be able to live as ‘normal’ lives as possible and feel cute doing it!
