Indestructible Soccer Ball Changes Lives Around The World
Tim Jahnigen was moved when he saw refugee children in Darfur playing with a soccer ball made from trash. He realized that though they live under different circumstances, they were still just kids who wanted to play. He invented a ball that was indestructible, even for lions! With the help of his pal, famous singer Sting, he developed the concept for One World Futbol. The soccer ball that can't be destroyed, has reached over 160 countries delighting kids from refugee camps, war zones and inner cities. One World Futbul welcomes donations of soccer balls at anytime. The car company, Chevrolet, has jumped on board as a sponsor and is committed to distributing more than 1 million balls. It's amazing how one, small ball can bring so much joy to these kids. We should take a lesson from them.... It's the small joys in life that really matter!
