In Case You Missed It: 'Tiny Superheroes--Courageous Kids Earn Their Capes'
Tiny Superheroes is a project to empower children living with illness. It's remarkable how simple cape, with the child's first initial on it, can push a kid's spirit into super-human strength. HooplaHa recently featured Alvin, a young boy who was diagnosed with Autism and a brain condition called Hydrocephalus. His reaction to getting his Tiny Superhero cape is priceless.
Tiny Superheroes was founded by Robyn Rosenburger, one heck of a mother who makes capes for many sick kids. She posts all of their stories on her website to show just how strong these kids really are. All it takes is a little encouragement, which in this case takes the form of a little cape with a big impact.
