Girl With Down Syndrome Proves Statistics Wrong; Sings Beautifully
There are many limitations put on people with Down Syndrome. According to the Down Syndrome Education International, many people with Down Syndrome have very low pitched voice. It also takes twice as much energy for them to activate vocal muscles and initiate voice. 12-year-old Madison Tevlin doesn't care about these statistics. In fact, she is set out to prove them wrong. Not only does she sound amazing but she was able to memorize every word of the song. People with Down Syndrome are believed to have short term memory; but not Madison. She chose to sing 'All Of Me' by John Legend to prove to everyone the importance of unconditional love.
