From Backstage to the Barnyard - Press Paws (S1:E6)

We've got some truly amazing stories for Episode 6 of Press Paws, the show for the Animal lover in all of us! Hosted by Michelle Ray Smith, Press Paws tells passionate stories of the unique bond between animals and people and how they help each other live a happier, more fulfilling life.


Episode Highlights:

1. Bionic Dog: Naki'o got off to a rough start when he lost all 4 toes to frostbite as a puppy. But thanks to the team at OrthoPets, he is now the Bionic Dog - an inspiration to all!

2. Forget Me Not Farm: Since its inception in 1992, Forget Me Not Farm has helped thousands of at-risk youth break the cycle of abuse through animal-assisted and horticultural therapeutic activities.

3. Doggie Dress Designer: What's more fun than being backstage at a fashion show featuring incredibly cute dogs? Ada Nieves makes the designer costumes and the dogs will strut their stuff at the New York Pet Fashion Show.

4. Metro The Painting Horse: Metro once won eight races on the New York Thoroughbred circuit but now he is getting accolades for his artistic talents.

5. Never Too Old To Love (Music Video): Senior dog rescue non-profit The Mr. Mo Project teamed up with the musicians Dan Tilleryand and Dave G to create this heartwarming music video that celebrates the spirit of senior dogs.

Host Michelle Ray Smith was born in Michigan to a family that loved nature and animals, especially dogs. Growing up, Michelle and her sister explored the outdoors, learning about all the things that lived around them. Today Michelle is an accomplished actress (Law & Order, Guiding Light), and a Victoria's Secret model. She is also an entrepreneur as founder of an organic cleaning company.

Blind Waiter Serves Up Diner Classics and Life Lessons

** As we wind down to the final days of this difficult year, OGTV is tipping our hat to all of the essential workers on the front lines with this uplifting story about a New Jersey man who has found a way to do this difficult job for years, even without his eyesight! **
