First Female NFL Coach Proves Anything Is Possible
History was made when Jen Welter, 37, was hired as the National Football League's first female coach, for the Arizona Cardinals. Not only does she know the ins and outs of the sport, but she can PLAY it too! Jen, standing at 5'2" feet tall, played 14 seasons of women's football. This is all amazing in itself. But the reason we love her? She is a role model to young girls and older women alike. She wants to prove that anything is possible. Girls can play football... and coach it.
"I want little girls everywhere to grow up knowing they can do anything, even play football," Jen explained. She also talks about girls feeling good about themselves on the inside. It's not all about makeup and being pretty. Go Jen!
