Firefighter's Give Moving Salute to Sandy Hook Victim

Daniel Bardon, one of 26 victims of the Sandy Hook shooting, dreamed of becoming a fire fighter like his uncles.  To pay tribute to his dream and to his memory, firefighters assembled a guard of honor at his funeral on Wednesday morning.

According to ABC News, Daniel's empathy was remarkable for a child his age. His desire and ability to help others was noticed by his teachers and was paired with special needs student at school. Daniel's mother, Jackie Barden, said, "Our neighbors always said, 'He's like an old soul.'"
