For Eddie Brill, happiness comes from making people laugh. He enjoys the ups and downs of comedy because it reminds him he's alive! Eddie Brill is a comedian, actor, and writer. With more than 100 appearances in both TV and film, Eddie is best known for his work on The Late Show with David Letterman. In March 2001, he became the comedy talent coordinator for The Late Show and worked as the audience warm-up for the show from February 1997 through February 2014. He also works as the creative director of The Great American Comedy Festival in Norfolk, Nebraska, which honors Johnny Carson. In addition, Eddie has also embraced a lifestyle of healthy eating, living, and weight loss.
While he's touring as a stand up comedian, Eddie performs and helps raise money for many benefits including The Roberto Clemente Foundation (for underprivileged children), Sisters in Survival (women with Breast cancer). Juvenile Diabetes, The American Cancer Association, and, of course, with Reader's Digest and St. Jude on Stand-Up for the Children.
Eddie Brill's journey began with HooplaHa in 2012 when he debuted as Professor Good N Well, expert on words, on the hysterical hit web series "Famous Phrases". He takes us through history as we find out the origins of words and phrases we hear and use every day. In this episode, Professor Good N' Well searches his home for his beloved cat, but can't seem to find her in the bag she usually hangs out in. With the "cat out of the bag," watch as Professor Good N' Well asks his faithful students on the street where they think the phrase came from.
