Doctor Dresses As A Homeless Man To Treat People On The Street
Dr. Jim Withers considers the profession of healthcare a calling. As a medical professional, he answers this calling by disguising himself as a homeless person to treat those who actually have no home. Withers and his team take to the streets in Pittsburgh five nights a week to help those in need who cannot afford to seek medical care. They've been doing this for 22 years.
"What happens is, you see yourself in street people," Withers says. "That could have been me.... Everybody matters."
