Digital Keyboard Adds Virtual Physics For A Visual Wow

UCL student Felix Faire took the idea of a digital keyboard, where you can play piano on any surface, into another realm that includes movement and visuals.  He reimagined this technology into a touch-sensitive grid with one long string in the center plus a built-in light show.  By tapping anywhere or plucking the string to play a note, wave forms provide accents using virtual physics.  It's a musical invention that combines audio with other senses for creative, almost otherworldly, fun.
